VOTE FOR MY HOUSE!

VOTE HERE! _------------------------------------------------------------>
Okay, in reality, you aren't going to pick my house, but this has really become a difficult decision! I think I know which way I am leaning, but, any help would be appreciated. :) In reality, there will be lots of prayer and thought that goes into this and many other things we have to think about. Anyway, It would be nice to have some help! So. . . HELP! Haven't you always wanted to pick a house where it has virtually NO impact on you? :)

You can click on the name of the house to see pictures and the actual listing.

Cons:
Smaller Square feet
On the corner and entrance of the neighborhood.
Only thing in the yard is the pool. No other space.
7.7 miles away from work. 15-25 mins depending on Traffic.

Pros:
Pool
Good Schools

Pros:
Large Yard
Large Square Footage
Shutters on all windows
Nice Neighborhood
Good Schools
Out of Town/Closer (by 10-15 mins to beaches)
Cul de sac

Cons:
Out of Town/ 8.7 Miles away from work
No Pool or HOA with a Pool.

Pros:

Big house
Nicest upgrades
Nice Neighborhood

Cons:
Schools aren't quite as good as others
No pool, or association pool.
Needs work. Paint, Door, new carpeting in some areas.
Futher Away. 9.7 miles.
Wisteria Lane House:

Pros:

1.7 miles from work!!!!!
Association Pool
Cul De Sac
Name of the address! DESPERATE HOUSEWIFE!
Good Schools

Cons:
Smallest House
No Pool in the backyard, but nice back yard
Not as much storage space.
Closer to work, but much more traffic to fight to get anywhere, in a busy part of town.
With all of the great opinons, I decided to give everyone a real opportunity to see the options!

I just quickly browsed through them, but I like the last one (Wisteria) the best. I would definitely give up some square footage for shorter commute, association pool, good schools, and a cul de sac. It also looks like it has a really nice front & back yard.

Second choice would be Golden Mist.

Third choice would be Desert Willows.

My least favorite would be the first one (Dodaro). You definitely do not want to live on the corner on the entrance to a neighborhood! I lived on busy traffic corner (not even the entrance) in our old house and I hated it! Especially if you're getting less square footage too. And I think you would regret having JUST a pool in the backyard and no grass. And it doesn't look like it has a pool fence, so you'd have to factor in that cost (assuming you'd put one in).

the last one. It's not THAT much smaller and still has a lot of room. I can't believe you are moving again....I read your private blog and meant to comment but got distracted...you are living a crazy life, lady!

For Sure the Wisteria Lane one - They even said the Kitchen was for the "Pampered Chef" :) Good Luck - I just put in an offer on a house myself... So I will be putting in a PC order soon...

The Wisteria Lane one looks best to me. I LOVE the back yard! Good schools, good commute, cul-de-sac... I like the Golden Mist one next.

Good Luck!

I say Golden Mist. 8.7 miles isn't that far...especially if you get to skip the traffic. I think it is beautiful inside and out...has the best curb appeal and you could just join a pool.

K. I'm back. I voted for.....Wisteria Lane!!! Here's how I rank them all.
1)Wisteria Lane
2)Golden Mist
3) Desert Willows
4)Dodaro

Wisteria has great curb appeal, a great yard, it's on a cul-de-sac, 3 car garages, and you really can't overlook how great the name is! Also, it has enough space for 4 bums at the island.....something I would LOVE to have. Golden Mist is a 4 seater at the island too and it looks like it has a great pantry which is also important to me. Being close to work and having the association pool makes life soooo much easier. Thanks for letting us all play along! So fun! (PS I don't know what happened to my link to The Ride....can you send me another invite or something? Thanks!)

All very pretty except the first one, not so pretty and the yard sounds like a bummer. The deciding factor for me would be the schools, as I bet it is for you too. That is so important. I guess since the second and the last sound like the best because of the schools and the fact that they are in Cul de sacs and therefore the safest? I like the last one that is out of town and closer to the recreational stuff. So... Wisteria Lane is my vote! (And it is really really cute! I see some great planting beds in front of that cute porch. I'm so excited for you!
