My Uniform

I have a uniform.

I wear a v-neck t-shirt,

and a pair of sweatpants.

I tried to take a picture for you,

but it wasn't flattering. (Hard to imagine WHY, huh?)

So, I didn't post it.

The outfit is NOT meant to impress.

But, I wear it almost every day.

Many people have seen my in my "uniform".

The ladies I car pool with,

my visiting teachers,

any repair man.

I really don't care.

I mean, I REALLY don't care.

I am comfortable.

And almost no one can sees me in it.

Except for the people I mentioned before.

Sometimes I don't shower. . .

until 3 in the afternoon,

when I have to go somewhere.

I read Cjane.

She wears Mumus.

She is proud of her Mu-mus.

In her vlog today, she and her sister are wearing mu-mus.

They look comfy.

But I am not sure I can pull it off.

She said they get them at Dillards.

I searched for "mu-mus" on Dillards website.

Guess what,

They aren't called mu-mus anymore. They are called Patio Dresses.

I think I like that term more.

So much more, I think I want a patio dress.

Do you want to see me in a patio dress?

Or in my uniform?

Let me know.

Here are some patio dress options.

I think I am in love.

I think I would have to go with a longer mu-mu because I am so tall. I think the short one would be a disaster.

Which mu-mu do you like?

If I get enough comments on this post, I will buy the preferred mu-mu and post a picture of me in it on my blog.

I will decide what is enough comments.

As a side note, I feel sorry for the patio dress model. I am sure when she got to work that day she thought, "and what about me says, patio dress exactly?". . .

Life by Chuck E. Cheese Photos

I love Chuck E. Cheese Photos. It started with the Chuck E. and Me pictures when you are riding in the car. That was one of Wade's favorite rides as a baby, and he didn't even know he was "posing" for a shot.

When Kaylie started visiting Chuck E. on a regular basis, I make sure she gets a ride with Chuck E. too.

Abby started my collection, because she is obsessed with the sketch machine.

She took this one, and I have had it on my fridge ever since she brought it home. She snagged Kaylie for this one.
It is one of my favorite pictures of them. Even of the ones I take with my actual camera! I think it is because Kaylie has no idea what is going on, I had no idea it was happening, and the joy on Abby's face is priceless.

Abby got in the machine last night for this one.

And Kaylie was forced in by me for this one. Believe it or not, I was supposed to be in the shot, but she was moving like a wet dog out of the tub, I couldn't get a great shot.

I know I haven't kept all of the pictures over the years, but I wish I had. I think they are a great way to document our fun.

Happy Birthday to my Little Man

It's Wade's birthday week.

I really wanted to do a little Birthday Quiz like one of my friends does for her kids on their birthday. She does it every year, posts it on her blog for posterity, and it is so cute. However, I tried it with Wade, and it didn't turn out so well. I guess I will have to try it when he is a little older. Most of the answers I got were completely inaudible. But hilarious.

I cannot tell you how much I adore this little man. He came into my life as such a ray of light. It was one of those times where life was in balance, things were happy and a baby was brought into our family. I will never forget it. I have said, for almost 4 years now, that if all my babies can be like Wade, I would have had a bundle. Serious.

But they aren't. And that is what makes each and every baby that you have so special. They are all so unique and different. And I love that about them as well. But Wade came to me at a special time. I say things were happy, but we had just gotten Jaxon's diagnosis of Autism. (This is the original link) So, I prayed every day that baby boy would not have the same issues that Jaxon does. I cried when I found out it was a boy, because I knew that the chances were greater with a boy, than having a girl.

I watched him like a HAWK from birth. Every smile, every developmental milestone (those who have kids with issues know that you must know when all of these milestones took place because you fill out thousands -literally- of questionnaires about your child). He met every mile stone on time, or early, and my heart soared with happiness each time.

I obsessed over his toes.

He has shown his amazing zeal for water. Several times.

And his laugh is completely infectious. He still laughs EXACTLY like this when he is laughing really hard.

He has been my buddy.

But it's been more good than bad. As a matter of fact, the little guy has turned into a little lady killer.

This picture is kinda wonky because I wanted to capture the true essence of the moment. We had just hopped out of car, and Wade is one of those kids that I don't have to hold hands with. He is always on my tail, never runs away, and always listens if you say stop, go, or wait. I turned around to make sure he was there, like he always is, and this is what I saw.

My little dude, with his shades on, walking like it ain't no thing, into Hobby Lobby. It made my heart so happy to look down at him and he was just, bein' himself. And I love it.

Just moments earlier, we had stopped at a stop light. Wade likes to roll his window down and talk to the people next to us if his window is unlocked. There happened to be a 20 something girl in the car who looked over at him. He smiled, and waved, she waved back and smiled. Wade glanced over at me and said, "She's cute!" I started to laugh, and she noticed he was talking to me, so, I told her what he said, and she instantly told her friend and they started into rolling laughter. Wade, had the biggest smile on his face. It was a classic Wade moment. He loved it. The girl, the giggling. He was mighty proud of himself.

I am so grateful for this little boy. I spend so much time with him throughout the day. Most of the time, he is right by my side. Just hanging out. He is such a blessing. I hope he has a great 4th year.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY WADE!

The Bachelor Re-cap . . . Women go crazy.

I almost did a post about something other than the Bachelor last week. Seriously! I almost did! It would have been awesome. . . but, The Bachelor is almost over, so, soon. Soon.

I am sorry I didn't get a post about the show up last week! I was watching it with a friend and was able to get all of my, "Whaaaaaaaaaaa?" "No she DIDn't" and "huuuuuuuuh?" moments out.

Most of them had to do with what Chantel chooses to wear. I am sorry. I don't like that kind of cattiness. I really don't. I refuse to let my kids talk that way, I usually don't like hearing OTHER people talk that way, but seriously. Chantel was not lookin' her best. . . oh wait. . . was she ever? All I can think back on is the many poor choices in dresses at the rose ceremonies. I wish I could do a montage. Holly seems to be able to find any screen shot she wants. Holly, will you please put together a montage of Chantel's poor dress choices? Thanks.

Moving on. . no, that CAN'T be all I can say about the African Safari, can it? Nope. First of all, back to what they were wearing. I have to hand it to Emily to always look freakishly perfect even in the jungle with ratty un-curled hair. Seriously. Props to that girl. She always looked hot. I know that is the reason SOME of you don't like her, but, really, she seems super-de-duper nice. Doesn't she? I really have not found a down side to that girl. I like her. Plus, every man needs a woman who can bring him down a notch. And I am not saying that Emily cuts him down or anything, but Brad seems like a rambunctious puppy. And Emily just might be the calming nature he needs to finally "settle down".

Speaking of rambunctious puppy. . .

See that there in the driver's seat? That is Brad's twin brother driving the car. I sure hope they are somewhere in the desert because he is drinking a Bud-light while driving, and I am pretty sure that is illegal. Why bother with the seat belts guys? But you can see Brad the puppy in the back seat. He might as well have his head stuck out the window with his tongue flapping in the wind. Ladies. Does this video say 38 year old man to you? I think not. Emily, Chantal. . you can have him. But then again, I have never been a huge Brad fan. However, he might be ready for a real relationship THIS time. But we all know how long these relationships last.

I was laughing last night that his "significant other" told him to not be too happy to see the women from the show. HA! Already got a grip on that guy huh? That seems more like a Chantal move, than an Emily move. If Emily did say that. . she said it in that super sweet southern drawl, and didn't really insist. And the video montage they showed last night of Brad being a spaz. . . like I said. Puppy.

Okay, let's move on now to the Women tell all, and the most important details of the night. First off, if they pick Ashley H. to be the new bachelorette, I will be seriously disappointed. Like, DeAnna Papas disappointed. And if you have been with me through all the Bachelorette seasons, you should know that is VERY DISAPPOINTED! I just started to get really irritated by her whining and "do you like me" insecurities. I don't think she would be that much fun to watch. Seriously. But, you all know I will. I would NEVER go so far to say that I won't watch. DUH. WINNING.

Just kidding. What would a blog post be without a reference to the biggest melt down this week. Classic.

Okay, now on to Michelle. She drove me crazy. But watching her last night was weird. I didn't feel bad for her, because hey, you put yourself on a reality show, and that is what you are going to get, but EW. . . Alli really showed HER ugly side. Yuck. I am not saying Michelle should have left her 5 year old at home. We all know that she went on the show to "further her career" and I am sure she thought that was going to be great. But can you imagine the backlash you are going to get from a 5 year old if you have been gone for a month? I can't.

She was probably regretting it at that point.

And as for her craziness. It was clearly an act. Or was the crying last night. I don't know, you tell me. What I saw was a girl who is a little insecure, a LOT over exposed, and I dunno. But she did give us the best entertainment of the season. Thanks Michelle!

On a last note. Did you hear Reality Steve was wrong? That is what he is saying. You know what I think? I think the Bachelor producers are having a complete heyday wreaking havoc on Reality Steve and spoilers or not. I still can't figure out who he chooses. They haven't shown him standing out by himself until last night. And they have only shown Brad crying (hard) on Emily's shoulder. . which is strange, and getting mad at Chantal and her saying, "After all this, you better put a ring on my finger!" Nice touch Chantal. I think I may have said something like that right before I got engaged, but there wasn't a "plan B" or "second option" waiting in the wings. I may have saved that little morsel until AFTER you have the ring on your finger. No?

Happy watching kids! I have read the spoilers and I seriously STILL don't have any clue who he is going to pick, but I can't wait to find out!
