Christmas Aftermath

I see all of you diligent bloggers out there kept blogging RIGHT UP UNTIL CHRISTMAS DAY! (Over achievers) Don't get me wrong, I had some serious ambitions. I wanted to blog about this (ornaments in particular), and this (great idea, especially since I didn't send out cards this year) and I was probably going to expound upon that theme with a history of bad Santa photos... but as you can see, it never materialized. I guess I will save those ideas for next year.

Truth be told, I just couldn't do it all. (I know!) So, I didn't. Instead, I have been enjoying time with family who is visiting for the Holiday. More on that when I feel like getting out of bed to get my camera and download cord. Know what I mean? All this hub-ub has contributed to my latest pregnancy challenge, cankles. (I am sooooooooooo not posting a picture of those!)

I hope yours was MERRY and BRIGHT! More plus pix when I get outta bed. Please pray for my cankles.

That Christmas post took me FOREVER! I didn't realize all the work until I was like 300 pictures into it so I had to finish. I couldn't bear the thought of having wasted all of my precious time and efforts. So you my friend were the smart one who didn't even attempt to take on such a feat the day before Christmas.

Besides spending time with family is way more important than blogging. You have your priorities straight, I, clearly, do not.

I am totally with you. But at least you didn't do an embarrassingly depressing post a week before Christmas that made friends and family check in just to make sure you're going to be okay. Embarrassing! It could have been worse, Lindsey. Trust me.

I had cankles when I was pregnant with Crayton. I'm so sorry. They take pregnancy to a whole new level of discomfort. Physically and emotionally. I look forward to your Christmas pix and will pray for your cankles:). Enjoy your time in bed. I'm sure that you've been there for 5 days:). HA!!!

I am glad you spent your time with family.

Don't you love those cankles? When you push in on them and they stay indented. You're going to make it!

Do you have to be pregnant to have cankles? I might have some going just from the holidays! Merry Christmas to you and yours!

Oh man did I ever have cankles!!! Other women would actually come up to me and tell me how sorry they were! Yikes, how embarrasing!

I also wanted to comment on your last post about Jaxon and his diet. I think it is so awesome that you are trying out the whole diet thing. It can be so overwhelming...I actually know that because when Ruby was a baby she was given a series of antibiotics by a stupid doctor that literally destroyed her whole intestinal system (she actually ended up with a superbug called c.diff) anyways, we had to work through allergies caused by her damaged intestines. Long story short it took nearly two years to completely recover and she isn't even on "the spectrum". So if it looks like Jaxon needs to go back on the diet, don't despair, things do heal and Ruby did get over all her allergies, but it definitley took time. Plus the longer we did it, the more second nature it became. Now Chloe is also having allergy issues and it's so much easier to deal with because it isn't all new. Anyways, I just thought I'd throw that in and tell you I think you're an amazing mom for even trying it and to keep it up if you can!
