I am being ABUSED

So, I am 35... Getting ready to have my 4th child.

I guess this makes me a "high risk" pregnancy.

The Dr.s are trying to kill me by making me come to the Dr.'s office EVERYDAY.

No WONDER my blood pressure is HIGH.

They have made me collect Urine for 24 hours.. Have you done it? It is SO FUN. (So fun to wander to the refrigerator in the middle of the night with a cup full of pee...)

Really, because it is already SO FUN to do it every time you go to the office.

They have made me lay in their office for an hour hooked up to a monitor.

They have made me take Glucose tests.

I have been poked in the finger

In the arm

And YOU KNOW WHERE ELSE!

They have made me have ultrasounds (ok, those aren't that bad)

I have passed every single one of their tests with FLYING COLORS.

But seriously.. the next time they ask me how I am feeling or why my blood pressure is "a little high" I am going to say,

BECAUSE YOU GUYS ARE DRIVING ME COMPLETELY BATTY! NOW LEAVE ME ALONE!
Do you think it will work?

OH MY! So the refrigerator visual says it all! Maybe all this fun will guarantee an early induction??
Hang in there!

EVERYDAY??? Seriously? I would definitely tell them that they are stressing you out. Tell them that you are willing and able to come in once per week. No more. No less. The end. And then throw in a "you're not my boss." That'll get em off of your back.

Hang in there. you're in the home stretch. You'll be holding that little baby before you know it.

If you tell them that, please tell us how it went.

Arrrgh! With my 3rd I had high blood pressure and I had to go in every 2 days. Then they put me on strict bedrest . I learned that bedrest and small children doesn't work.

Hang in there. You are so close!

Okay that is crazy...I hope you live close to your doctors office. It's almost over and it will all be worth it when you hold that precious baby girl and put her in that adorable car seat.

So, do you know that you can refuse to come every day? There is no way I would agree to that! Do they know that you have THREE other children??? That is RIDICULOUS!!!! At least tell them every other day! How much longer do you have of this?

You go girl, tell em how you feel!

I can sense the misery in your writing - uggh! Pregnancy sucks!

Let me know if I can watch your kids or help out in any way once that baby is here!

I dare you to say that.

Then blog about it! :)

I am so glad I had my last at 34 years, 10 months and 23 days. I had no idea. Hang in there!

For the love... is this what I have to look forward to? I'm 33 weeks along, and I turned 35 at the start of December. Oh well. Thanks for blogging about all of this. It keeps me informed AND keeps a smile on my face. (Especially when my poofy feet and stretched too tight shirts came along. = )

Everyday? Thats just insane! They are just doing it because they don't want to be liable in case something happens. If by some miracle, I get preggers again-I'm going midwife all the way. Just stop showering, then maybe they'll ask you to stop coming so often.

Try being 36 with triplets...mega-dose of high risk! I was able to maneuver my way out of a lot of the tests until about 30 weeks, but yes, I feel your pain!

OOOOOo Yucky! I had my last at 33 so I got lucky. Good luck, you will have such a gift when all is said and done.

I dare you to put some lemonade in the fridge next to the giant jar of pee and see what happens.

Ok, that's really gross. Don't do that. Sorry for your troubles, friend.

Going to the doctor EVERYDAY? Linds..that would make me go extremely batty! Just think...less than a month to go! You could be me and have to wait another 4! =) Good luck!!!

Tell them you have white coat syndrome. Its when people have high blood pressure only around doctor's because they are nervous and stressed. See if they buy it.

Were you at the Dillon's off of Thunderbird or Bell?

You were about 17-19.5 minutes away from my house. You should have come over for dessert. I would even have done my dishes for you:).

Oh, this is so funny! I see Cheryln reads your blog. I love what a small world we live in. Cheryln is one of my best friends in the world from college. We were roommates and I love her like a sister. She also married a friend from our freshman ward. You and I have great taste in friends.
I think I remember hearing that you and Cher played b-ball together in HS.
